Walt Disney World The Haunted Mansion Ride Videos

As one of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World, The Haunted Mansion ride videos are available aplenty. The problem is, there are so many videos available, and of such questionable quality, that it can take hours to find just one good one! Or, you might get lucky and have a few good ones float to the top of the listings. But if you really just want to watch videos of The Haunted Mansion ride through for memory's sake, or to show a potential traveler, do you really want to sift through all that yourself?

Here are some of the best of the Walt Disney World Haunted Mansion ride videos that I've found.

The New Haunted Mansion After Rehab Ride Videos:

WDW Haunted Mansion Night Vision Video:

I love this video of Walt Disney World's Haunted Mansion in night vision. The sound doesn't seem to be synced right and is a little quiet, but the night vision picks up the best spots in the mansion better than most video cameras set on regular light. The video is edited to only show those great parts, so it's a great reminder to those who've been on the Haunted Mansion, and a great promotional video to whet the appetite of first time travelers.

WDW Haunted Mansion POV Video:

The blinking eyes, the bride, the singing busts, and Little Leota all look better in the first night vision video than in here. For some reason, anything that glows in this video just glows and you can't see any of the detail. However, this video of the Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World was shot in HD and almost everything comes through very clear. Just be forewarned, too much detail can actually spoil the experience.

SpectroMagic Parade Videos

I know that I said yesterday that Animal Kingdom's Jammin Jungle Parade was my all time favorite of the Walt Disney World parades, but the Magic Kingdom's nighttime parade SpectroMagic is the most awe-inspiring. The thousands of sparkling lights is absolutely stunning, and the SpectroMagic music made me cry even before I saw the parade for the first time.

I dug up a few videos of Spectromagic, because with how visually stunning the parade is in person, it's impossible to capture that with a camera. So I have to give you several different videos of the SpectroMagic parade to give you the best overall idea of it.

Walt Disney World's Wishes Fireworks Videos

In my opinion, there is no more beautiful fireworks show than the Wishes fireworks in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. I've seen them a dozen or more times over the years, though several of those times were glimpses through the open portions of Tomorrowland Transit Authority, or while on Big Thunder Mountain, or while trapped in the middle of Fantasyland from the crowds while attempting to get to Snow White's Scary Adventures.

If I had my druthers, I'd get to plop right down and watch Wishes from start to finish every chance I got, but my husband isn't a fireworks fan.

There are 3 versions of Wishes, the regular Wishes fireworks, the Christmas Holiday Wishes fireworks, and Hallowishes Halloween Wishes fireworks. I include all three versions here, plus the Magic Kingdom's New Years Eve Fireworks.

Magic Kingdom's Wishes Fireworks Video:

Contrary to popular belief, Main St. USA is not the best place to watch Wishes. In my opinion, the bridge to Tomorrowland, the seating area at Tomorrowland Noodle Station, and the path leading from Tomorrowland Noodle Station to Main Street USA are the best Wishes viewing places, though I've heard it argued that the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad area is better. Fantasyland is, in fact, the worst viewing area for Wishes, as the fireworks are shot off from an area in Fantasyland, and an area in Mickey's Toon Town- meaning that while you're surrounded by the fireworks, you can't see them all at once, and have to look straight up to see them at all, which will strain your neck. It's also horrendously crowded.

Peter Pan's Flight Video

As always, I search for one Peter Pan's Flight video, and end up posting 4 separate Peter Pan's Flight videos. After all, there's more than just the Peter Pan's Flight at Walt Disney World. Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, and Disneyland Tokyo have their own, and even Virtual Magic Kingdom had its own Peter Pan's Flight!

Walt Disney World's Original Peter Pan's Flight Video:

The video quality isn't very high in this Peter Pan's Flight video, but if you watch carefully, you'll see how much shorter the old version was! There's an entire section that was added in the rehab, and we're so grateful. Peter Pan's Flight was always our favorite ride anyway, but as it only lasted 2 minutes, the ride was over almost as soon as it was begun! The little addition to Peter Pan's Flight really makes a difference.

Tokyo Disneyland Peter Pan's Flight Video (nearly identical to the new WDW version):

I had to include this video of Tokyo Disneyland's Peter Pan's Flight, because it's nearly identical to the Peter Pan's Flight in Florida's Magic Kingdom- but the video quality is much higher than what I could find of WDW's attraction. The main difference is the loading area decor, and that Nanna is outside in the Walt Disney World version.

Disneyland Paris' Peter Pan's Flight Video:

This is awesome! Granted, I love the Peter Pan's Flight at Walt Disney World in Florida- but the Disneyland Paris version is totally different. And totally cool.

Virtual Magic Kingdom (VMK) Peter Pan's Flight:

I tried signing up for VMK a while back but couldn't figure out how to move! It's a shame- I had no idea that you could do all of this!

Cinderella at Walt Disney World Videos

I noticed a few hits on the Cinderella's Castle post from people searching for Cinderella at Walt Disney World videos, so I thought I'd put together a more appropriate post to the query.

It's not easy to find videos of Cinderella not interacting with kids, since, well, that's what she does. I did, however, find a few videos of Cinderella at Walt Disney World alone in front of the camera, or on stage.

Cinderella With Kid Video:

In this Cinderella video at Walt Disney World in Cinderella's Castle at Cinderella's Table (say that 10 times fast) you get several Disney Princesses for the price of one! There were a few other similar videos, but this one caught the best Princess interaction, in my opinion.

Cinderella at Walt Disney World Video:

I just love Cinderella's robotic skirt. Seriously! It swishes on its own! I want one now....

Cinderellabration Video:

This is the Cinderellabration at Walt Disney World in Florida. The sound track of the video seems a bit off, but it's close enough to not be annoying.

Be Cinderella:

This is unbelievably awesome. A former Walt Disney World Cinderella shows you step by step how to apply regular make up to look like an authentic Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Cinderella.

Original Snow White's Scary Adventures Ride Through Videos

I asked my husband what videos to search for today, and he said the original Snow White's Scary Adventures ride through videos. I said "original!", he said "yes".

You see, Snow White's Scary Adventures is one of our favorite rides at Walt Disney World, but he was blessed enough (or cursed enough) to ride the attraction back in its original form. Apparently, the wicked witch appeared A LOT throughout the original ride. Also, apparently, it terrified small children, so they removed a lot of the queen/witch from Snow White's Scary Adventures.

So, I was pleasantly surprised when I actually found original Snow White's Scary Adventures videos. So, here are the originals, and the modern versions for your comparison.

Space Mountain Video

I've found two great Space Mountain videos. Granted, the first is a Space Mountain video filmed in the dark, so you really can't see anything. And the second isn't a Space Mountain video at all- it's just the Space Mountain exit area.

But if you wanted to be able to actually see the ride, you'd be looking for Space Mountain lights on videos, and that's a separate post. These Space Mountain videos are all about the theming, baby.

I picked these two Space Mountain videos, because the first shows EVERYTHING, including the signs and the part where it looks like you're walking in space. I picked the second Space Mountain video because it takes a little more time with the cool themed areas.

Space Mountain Video:

Space Mountain Exit Video:

Technically, you can see most of this stuff by riding the TTA (Tomorrowland Transit Authority), but you get a much better view from the Space Mountain videos than you would from riding the TTA.

Space Mountain Lights On Videos

Check it out- There are a lot of videos of Space Mountain lights on videos. These are only 2, but they're two very good ones. I have one Walt Disney World video with Space Mountain lights on, and one of Disneyland's Space Mountain with lights on.

In the case of the Walt Disney World Space Mountain lights on video, it's not quite as clear as another one, but I thought it was much more entertaining. It's a POV video (point of view- when riding) and shows nearly all the track. You can't fault him for missing some- Space Mountain is a rough ride even with the lights on.

Walt Disney World Space Mountain Lights On:

Is it just me, or is it funny that the structure on the left of the second hill climb looks a lot like an AtAt?

Disneyland Space Mountain Lights On:

I admit, I'm a little jealous that Disneyland's Space Mountain with the lights on looks a lot cooler than Walt Disney World's Space Mountain lights on. I don't know if it has to do with how they light it or what, but it just seems cooler.

Cinderella Castle Lighting Ceremony Video

I found this great Walt Disney World video of the first Cinderella Castle lighting ceremony of 2007. The footage goes a bit blurry from time to time, but I really think the guy did a great job of taping it. The audio is pretty clear, and when the screen isn't all blurry, it's actually pretty crisp. (I know that sounds weird, but as it is the first Cinderella Castle lighting ceremony of 2007, the guy taping was also watching- who can blame him?).

The video is a little long, because in addition to the actually Cinderella Castle lighting, he taped most or all of the little stage show that goes on beforehand. And I'll tell you what, the actual lighting is soooo pretty. I mean, the Cinderella's Castle is absolutely gorgeous with or without the lights, but that whole ice theme? Breathtaking.
