Innoventions Area Music Loop (Epcot's Future World)

One of my all time favorite songs is actually the Innoventions music suite. It's a combination of short songs combined into a loop that plays continuously in Epcot's Future World, specifically in the Innoventions East and West areas, and near the Electric Umbrellas. Disney area music is also called Disney BGM music, BGM standing for Back Ground Music. I know it's redundant to say BGM Music, but many people don't realize what the initials stand for.

Unfortunately, there seem to be no cds availabe of Disney BGM, and streaming audio is rare and hard to find. There are some wonderful radio stations on Live365 that play Disney area music, but it's mixed in with ride music, parades, and fireworks. That's great for feeling the magic, but sometimes you just want to relax to the awesome sounds of a Disney park.

Luckily, I stumbled onto a bunch of YouTube videos of Disney area music, including Innoventions area music. So, here's the Innoventions suite/loop, and the others will be coming in their own posts.

Epcot Figment's Journey Into Imagination Videos

Epcot's Journey Into Imagination with Dreamfinder and Figment used to be one of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World.

For some unknown reason, Disney decided to shut down this awesome attraction. When a public outcry forced them to reinstate the attraction, it was drastically cut down and no longer resembled the original ride at all. More complaints followed, and Disney created yet a third version of Figment's Journey Into Imagination. This version was moderately better than the second version, but still is no comparison to the original Journey Into Imagination.

This video of Journey Into Imagination is edited and is not of high quality. However, it's not terrible, and gives you a good overview of what the original Journey Into Imagination was like.

The Journey Into Imagination videos below are a three part series. It's much longer, but gives you as much detail as you're going to get out of footage from that era.

Modern Figment's Journey Into Imagination:

This version of Figment's Journey Into Imagination isn't totally devoid of entertainment value. After all, you get to see Eric Idle argue with a purple puppet. And since it's so unpopular, it's a wonderful place to escape crowds and Florida heat, though that benefit is lost as soon as you step off the ride and into the Kodak Image Works area.

Epcot's Illuminations Video

It's not hard to find videos of Epcot's Illuminations. What's difficult is to find Epcot's Illuminations videos all in one piece, rather than divided into 2 or 3 parts and videos, or edited to have just the "best" parts in it. Granted, I think the globe part is boring visually, too. But the music is still excellent!

So, I found a few different Epcot Illuminations videos that were all in one piece. Unfortunately, one was in HD (I know, that sounds weird to say unfortunately, but they're so wide that they stretch out my page and make it look all wonky), one cut off hard at the end before the show was technically finished, and several were of lesser quality or at bad angles.

So, here's the best non-HD Epcot Illuminations video that I could find.
